Founders' Day

In honor of Our Nation's Independence, the latest strip features a special guest appearance by a handful of the filthy Deists who made this day possible, along with some dudes in powdered wigs and waistcoats.

Now go combine alcohol and explosives. It's what Benjamin Franklin would have wanted.

I like how the right-hand founder looks sort of girly. It makes me feel represented even though I'm not.

Indeed. I was half-heartedly going for (L to R)John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Ben Franklin, though my selection of these three and the loose model for their appearances was based entirely on the movie 1776.

"Mr. Jefferson, I think youuuuuu should write it..."
