So Much for That
Well, it's done. Three days, eighteen hours, six essays, two performance tests, 200 multiple choice questions. My lovely wife supplied the food, company, moral support, balloons, party hats, and patience. Lots of old women supplied the proctology. I mean proctoring.
I may have a full post-mortem in the near future. In the meantime, here's a preview for those of you keeping score at home:
Tuesday morning:
(1) Community Property
(2) Real Property (equitable servitudes)
(3) Corporations/Professional Responsibility crossover (My two worst subjects! It was like a peanut dipped in peanut butter!)
Tuesday afternoon: Persuasive letter to opposing counsel arguing that a 55+ residential community is legally required to allow a couple to let their mentally retarded 23-year-old son live with them.
Wednesday: MBE!
Thursday morning:
(1) Evidence (narrative)
(2) Remedies (contract)
(3) Professional Responsibility, because the bar examiners are a bunch of terrible people. But at least the lawyer was banging his client!
Thursday afternoon: Memorandum of points and authorities in support of a city's right to seize a car belonging to a low-income family with a two-year-old daughter because the husband got a DUI while driving the car, because the bar examiners want to make sure we know how to be a bunch of terrible people.
November 18 at 6:00 pm: It all comes together.
