An elderly man just drove his Oldsmobile through a farmer's market off the Third Street Promenade at 60 miles per hour, killing eight people and injuring several others. Since Meli and I typically make several visits to the Promenade each week, I'm a little disturbed by this.

Yeah, it was all over the place in SM today-- the hospital I work at was preparing to receive victims in the ER, which was major because they are a hospital to the STARS and major emergencies are quite HIP, you dig?
Also, Matt made the other secretary laugh by calling to see if I was alive. Well, if being stuck in a 6 hour meeting counts, alive I was. And am.
